Alexander McQueen era uno de mis diseñadores preferidos... por no decir el que últimamente se había convertido en mi favorito. Sus desfiles eran todo un espectáculo y sus creaciones, puro arte y originalidad... la moda ha perdido a uno de los grandes, un genio.

Estaba pensando en hacer un port sobre él, y creo que este es el momento. Su último desfile me encantó, fue increíble. Fascinantes obras de arte caminando sobre la parela...


Alexander McQueen was one of my favourite designers... maybe my fav one. His sho were absolutely amazing and his creations, pure art and originality... fashion has lost one of the biggest, a genius.

I was thinking of creat a post about him, and I think that this is the moment. His last catwalk was incredible, I loved it. Beautiful art walking on the runway...

The It spring/summer 2010 hairstyle! / El peinado IT para la primavera/verano del 2010!

Desde que vi a todas las modelos en el desfile de Alexander Wang con la TRENZA ladeada, sabía que iba a ser el peinado estrella de la temporada. Y más aún si Miuccia Prada también las sacaba en su colección para Miu Miu...
Y ahora lo han confirmado H&M en su campaña publicitaria, editoriales de revistas como SomosMagazine, y las bloggers más trendy que ya las están llevando.

Since I saw all the models in the Alexander Wang catwalk with the BRAID on one side, I knew it would be the it hairstyle of the season. Moreover, if Miuccia Prada did it too in her collection for Miu Miu...
And now it has been confirmed by H&M, some magazine phosothoots such as SomosMagazine, and the most trendy bloggers who are already wearing them.

Mi Nochevieja & el vestido que me hice / My New Year's Eve and my handmade dress

La noche más larga del año siempre se me hace la más corta...!
Fuimos de cotillón a un hotel y acabamos el día por la mañana comiendo chocolate con churros =P
Os dejo unas instantáneas. Me he enamorado... de la espalda de mi vestido jeje.

The longest night of the year always ends becoming the shortest one for me...!
We went to a party in a hotel and we finished the day drinking chocolate in the morning :)

Happy New Year! Feliz Año Nuevo =)

Hasta nunca, 2009.

2009... sabes que casi desde que comenzaran tus días, ya estaba deseando con fervor que te acabaras. Así que de tus 365 días, hoy para mí es el más feliz xD. Por fin te vas...

Si hiciera un balance objetivo de este año, seguro que sí que sería positivo, porque he conocido a mucha gente increíble, he viajado un montón (Florencia, Praga, Viena, Budapest, Pamplona...), he asistido a ferias de moda y desfiles, a fiestas... pero sintiéndolo mucho, no puedo ser objetiva.

Resulta inverosímil, como una causa puede ser consecuencia de tantas cosas... como una sóla persona puede ser la razón de mi más absoluta felicidad o abocarme a la más honda tristeza... pero es la dura realidad. Ojalá no dependiera tanto de cierto sentimiento llamado amor...

2009, no te perdono que hayas sido el año en que más veces haya derramado lágrimas. Tampoco te perdono el que hayas roto tantas parejas, no sólo la mía. Y, ni qué dedir tiene, no te perdono en absoluto que te hayas llevado tantas vidas a mi alrededor y que hayas enfermado a otras cuantas.

Conozco a varias personas que quieren que termines, y quedan tan sólo unas horas... unas horas para dedicarte un último texto cargado de odio. ¿Se puede odiar a un año? No sé, pero yo siempre te veré escrito con letras negras. A pesar de todo lo bueno que has tenido, que lo ha habido y mucho...

Así que, de todos modos, he de reconocer que debía de pasar este año... porque es el año en que me he conocido realmente, en el que me he dado cuenta de mis defectos y de mis virtudes, el que me está enseñando a tener más paciencia y el que me ha hecho darme cuenta de lo que realmente me importa en esta vida, y qué no. Además de conocer a ciertas personitas y echarme unas cuantas risas con mis amigas :)

Aunque a algunos les parezca una materialista, hubiera cambiado toda la ropa que tengo por estar con cierta persona. Creo que con eso ya queda claro (mis preciosos vestidos... snif snif xD).

No me importa lo material si no puedo tener lo inmaterial...

En definitiva, querido 2010, he depositado todas mis ilusiones en ti. Sabes que tan sólo te pido un par de cosas, y tienes 365 días para cumplirlas. Sólo dos cosas.

No me falles... =)









Up to never, 2009...

2009... you know that almost since your days began, I was wishing fervently that you were finished. In your 365 days, today is for me the happiest one xD. At last you're almost over...

If I made an objective assessment of this year, sure it would be good, because I've met so many amazing people...!, I have traveled a lot, I've attended fashion shows&catwalks, parties... but regrettably, I can't be objective.

It seems to be unlikely, how just a cause can be the result of so many consecuences... as a single person may be the reason of my absoluted happiness or the deepest sadness ... but it's a fact. Hope I wouldn't depend so much on certain feeling called love...

2009, I will never forgive you, because you have been the year in wich I have shed tears more times. Nor I forgive you that you have broken so many couples, not just mine. And of course, I do not forgive you at all the fact that you've taken so many lives around me and you have taken a few others sickened.

I know several people who want you to be over, and there are just a few hours left ... few hours to devote a final text full of hate. Can you hate a year? I don't know, but I'll always see you writing with black lettering. Despite all the good things you've bring to me...

So anyway, I have to admit that I had to pass through this year... because it has been the year where I have realized my shortcomings and my strengths, which is teaching me more patience and the one in which I've realized what really matters in this life for me, and what not. In addition, I've met special people and I've laught a lot with my friends:)

Although some people think I'm a bit materialistic, I'm not: I would had changed all my clothes I have for being with a certain person. I guess that it is already clear (my beautiful dresses ... snif snif LOL).

I do not care about material thing, if I can have the immaterial ones...

In short, my 2010, I placed all my hopes in you. You know I just ask you a few things, and you have 365 days to make them true. Only two things.

Do not fail me... :)

Zara Hair Accesories / Accesorios Zara para el pelo

No sé si habréis visto la línea de accesorios para el pelo que ha sacado Zara, tiene cosas muy bonitas para esta Nochevieja. Yo me he comprado la cinta de la derecha que aparece en la primera imagen, pero no creo que la lleve pues me resulta un tanto incómoda para tanto tiempo. En su lugar, llevaré un lazo negro en la parte de atrás. De todos modos, ya he llevado esta cinta de Zara y queda preciosa!!


I don't know if you have seen yet the hair accesory line of Zara, it has really pretty things for New Year's Eve party. I've bought the headband you can see in the first picture (left). I suppose I'm not gonna wear it in New Year's Eve because it's a little uncomfortable for so many hours... instead, I'll wear my big black bow. Anyway, I've wore this headband and it's really beautiful!!
