My Romantic Little White Dress

LWD are really in this spring/summer. I have got four in this colour, but my fav one is this sweet dress by H&M. I DO love it!!

I wore it with brown tights (the back is SO sexy!!) and my pair of clogs from Zara (they're so comfortable!!).

Here you can see my house near to the beach (Cantabria-North of Spain). I can see the sea and the mountain from its terrace. It's a really relaxing and beautiful place :)

The necklace is also very sweet :)

And this romantic ring was a present from my best friend.. She makes such wonderful necklaces, earrings and rings!! =)

It has been a long time since my last post... I'm so so sorry -a lot!! =( I've been very busy with my fashion design classes (this is my last year!) and also with my other blog in Spanish (http://modaytendenciasrtg.blogspot.com/ -you can translate it with the Google tool!). It takes me a long time to update it with my attendance at fashion shows, interviews, shopping in my city, etc.

The friendly blogger at Quin At The Disco told me that she missed my blog ... that have made me such a great illusion..! thank u, sweetie! =) So here I am again! I promised I'll update this blog with my outftis, travels, trends and inspirations.

In addition, I've created a Tumblr in English and Spanish with photos taken by myself of that little details that inspire me. Hope you like it! And if you also have Tumblr, pls put me a link of it so I can follow you there:)

And the dress you can see in these photographs is one of my last creations. Pink silk fabric and that detail on the back, as if it were a butterfly. What do you think about it? Do you like dresses with elaborate backs?

Ha pasado ya muchísimo tiempo desde mi último post en este blog... Lo siento mucho, muchísimo!!! =( He estado muy ocupada con mis clases de Diseño de Moda (ya que estoy en el último curso) y, además, con mi otro blog en español (http://modaytendenciasrtg.blogspot.com/). Me lleva mucho tiempo actualizarlo con mi asistencia a desfiles, entrevistas, tiendas de mi ciudad, etc.

La simpática blogger de Quin at The Disco me dijo que echaba de menos mi blog... me ha hecho mucha ilusión, así que aquí vuelvo!! Me he prometido actualizar también este blog con mis outftis, viajes, tendencias e inspiraciones.

Thanks to a nice shop of my city called So Chic. They have interesting brands such as McQ by Alexander McQueen, D&G, Moschino or Juicy Couture.

Pantone Color of the Year 2011: Honeysuckle

Pantone has announced the Color of the Year: Honeysuckle 18-2122. It's gonna be the 2011 most trendy color.

It's a captivating and stimulating color that we can see in most of the designer's shows for this spring/summer 2011, such as Peter Som, Valentino or Giambattista Valli.

Honeysuckle always works with the standard basics of black, navy, charcoal or light to mid gray. But using complementary bronze greens adds a new sophistication to the combination that showcases the energy of Honeysuckle. They affirm in their webpage that green tones and a pinkish brown could be really interesting with this Honeysuckle pink color.

Pantone ha anunciado ya hace unos días el color que según ellos (y muchos otros expertos) será tendencia este año, denominado como el "color of the year": el Honeysuckle 18-2122.

Un tono intenso y estimulante, que hemos podido ver sobre la pasarela de primavera/verano 2011 en varias firmas, como por ejemplo Peter Som, Valentino, Giambattista Valli o Christopher Kane. Se trata de un rosa fuerte que desde Pantone recomiendan combinar con tonos neutros y básicos (como el negro, el navy o el gris), o bien atreverse a llevarlo con tonos verdes o un sofisticado marrón rosado.

La tienda online de My Theresa lo han señalado como uno de los colores tendencia de la temporada, tanto en ropa como en accesorios.

We can also find it in make up. A very sweet shade that I personally love for lips and cheeks. Would Chanel launch a pink color for nails this S/S...?? It would be nice!

Y no sólo lo encontraremos en ropa, sino también en el maquillaje. Un tono muy dulce que, particularmente, me encanta para labios y pómulos. ¿Sacará Chanel un rosa para las uñas también? Estaría guay!!

As somebody asked me, I'm posting some pictures with my Miu Miu shoes. The coat is also new (by H&M), and I absolutely love it! The shape looks so lady and fabulous..! =)

Under the coat I was wearing the nude lace dress you have already seen on me in this post.

I've got a pair of MIU MIU shoes!! =D

I saw them in the Miu Miu store while I was attending the Vogue's Fashion Night Out (in Madrid). It was love at first sight haha.

They are just perfect... not only the design and the colours, but also the fabrics. I think they are delicate and fierce at the same time... with that sweet bow&pastel colours and that gorgeous high heel&platform. I LOVE them!

Los vi en la tienda de Miu Miu durante la Fashion Night Out de Vogue en Madrid. Fue amor a primera vista!!! =)

Son simplemente perfectos... no sólo por su diseño y colores, sino también por los materiales. Me parecen delicados y atrevidos al mismo tiempo... con ese dulce lazo y los tonos pastel, más el increíble taconazo y la plataforma delantera. ¡Me ENCANTAN!

The packaging was also exquisite, in that beautiful pink and with gold brocade inside. Moreover, they are very well protected, with hidden foam on both sides of the box.

El "packaging" es igualmente precioso, en ese rosa taaan bonito y con brocado dorado en el interior tanto de la caja como de la bolsa. Además, vienen muy bien protegidos, con espuma oculta en los lados del interior de la caja.

On Thrusday evening I attend a big party with my classmates of Fashion Design and also some boys of Graphic Design.

It was the birthday of the girl in the yellow skirt, and she booked a private area of a nightclub. Afther that, we went to WeRock, another nightclub with gorgeous music :)

La noche del jueves tuve una gran fiesta con mis compañeros de Diseño de Moda y también algunos de los chicos de Diseño Gráfico.

Era el cumpleaños de la chica de la falda color mostaza, y reservó la zona VIP de una discoteca. Después, fuimos a WeRock, otra discoteca con una música genial =)

Wearing The Camel Trend

I absolutely love camel, so I felt excited when I knew about the it colour for this season.

I think a trench is a basic piece in every wardrobe, and I specially love them in camel or nude. I wore it with black, a combination of colours that I specially like.

These pics were taken in one of my favourite places in Pamplona (Spain): the Japanese garden called Yamaguchi. I found it breath-taking, really beautiful and magic. Indeed, Pamplona is a charming city... Have you ever visited it?

Adoro el camel, así que me alegré un montón cuando me enteré de que iba a ser el color clave para esta temporada.

En mi opinión, un trench es una pieza básica en nuestro armario, y a mí me gustan especialmente en color camel o nude. Yo lo combiné con negro, una mezcla de colores que me fascina.

Estas fotos fueron tomadas en uno de mis lugares preferidos de la ciudad de Pamplona: el parque japonés de Yamaguchi. Me parece increíblemente bello, mágico y encantador... De hecho, Pamplona es una ciudad muy bonita, ¿habéis estado alguna vez?

The amazing S/S 2010 show by Esther Noriega

Last week I attended a Fashion Week that has placed in my country.

This amazing desings are from the Spring Summer 2011 collection that the Spanish designer Esther Noriega showed last Thrusday. I was luckily sat in the front-row :)

I was absolutely atonished by their elegance and beauty... every piece of this collection is breath-taking!!! isn't it?

This is such a cute and perfect Little Black Dress...!!

The colours of the collection were just red, black and white, using amazing fabrics to create glamurous and femenine gowns.

The hats and headdresses were made by Pablo y Mayaya, they are also amazing!!!

I DO love this bag. In a Spanish shop called Blanco, you can find it (in brown or also in black colour), which is almost equal to Mulberry's. I was wishing for it so much...!

Me chifla este bolso. Estaba deseando de que lo trajeran en Blanco; siempre que entraba en la tienda, echaba un vistazo a todos los bolsos en busca de él. Y por fin lo han traído!! Y no sólo en marrón, sino que también lo hay en negro (aunque yo lo prefiero sin duda en color marrón). Es prácticamente igual al bolso de Mulberry!

@ the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week with my military sequin dress

Last Wednesday (22th of september) I went to Cibeles with two friends. We visited the showroom and the Cibelespacio space.

The dress I'm wearing is a beauty I found at Massimo Dutti, in military green and full of gorgeous sequins... I do love it!!

También nos pasamos por Starbucks.. dos veces! el Frapuccino y el Chocolate caliente con caramelo son mi debilidad! xD

Como todos sabréis, el pasado jueves 9 de septiembre tuvo lugar el gran evento de moda organizado por Vogue, la Fashion's Nigh Out. Fui con una amiga y nos encantó a las dos aunque, en mi opinión, había demasiada gente.

As all you might know, last Thrusday (9th of september)there was organizated the Vogue's Fashion's Night Out event. I was there with a friend and we both love i although, from my point of view, there was plenty of people.

Aquí os muestro el outfit escogido por mi amiga Alexandra y yo.

Alexandra lleva unos pantalones en tejido chanel y de pata de elefante hechos por ella misma, la quedaron impresionantes, ¿verdad? Los combinó con una camisa negra de raso, peep toe del mismo color y bombonera de mano con una lazada.

Y yo llevé un vestido diseñado y confeccionado también por mí, en color nude y negro, con pasamanería en la cintura y falda de pliegues. Lo combiné con un doctor bag en negro para un estilismo muy Louis Vuitton (la nueva colección, tipo años 50), junto a unas sandalias gladiador también en negro. ¡Contadme qué os parece!

Alexandra is wearing a pair of chanel fabric elephant trousers made by herself, they look amazing, aren't they? She combined them with a black satin shirt, peet toe shoes and a clutch in the same colour.

I worn a dress also designed and sewn by myself, in nude&black colours, with trimmings on the waist and a pleated skirt. The accesories chosen by myself were a doctor bag in black, very Louis Vuitton look-a-like (it's last show, inspired by the fifties) and a gladiator sandals in black. Tell me what do you think about it!

Tiene un montón de aplicaciones en torno al mundo de la moda realmente interesantes... Mi favorita es Style.com porque puedes ver en imágenes todos los desfiles y acercarlas cuanto quieras para ver los detalles de las prendas a una increíblemente buena resolución =)

It has lots of apps about Fashion which are really interesting... My favourite one is Style.com because you can see images from all the catwalks and zoom them in so much as you want to see the details on the cloth with an incredible resolution!

Siento la falta de entradas, pero es que me volví a ir de vacaciones al Norte con las amigas :)

Una de las tendencias para el próximo otoño/invierno (y que realmente ya se venía viendo antes) es el estilo militar. Yo ya tenía dos vestidos de aire militar (podéis ver uno de ellos en esta foto) y hace poco me hice con otro de Massimo Dutti, en verde caqui y lleno de pedrería, ¡ya os lo enseñaré!

¿Qué os parece esta tendencia? ¿Os habéis hecho ya con algo en este estilo?

Estas fotografías fueron también tomadas en San Vicente de la Barquera, esta vez en la zona de la Iglesia y el Castillo. Hay unas vistas a la ría realmente preciosas desde allí arriba.
Llevé mi mono-short de Zara en azul cielo con estampado de flores y puntilla, sandalias de tiras también de Zara, un capazo que me encanta y un mariposa que compré en el mercadillo artesanal del pueblo.
Llevo cuatro tendencias de este verano: el estampado Liberty o floral, los monos cortos, los detalles de encaje o puntillas y los capazos.

I was wearing my Liberty blue print romper from Zara with a little detail of lace. The sandals are also from Zara. The butterfly was bought at the craft market in town.

Una de estas tardes de vacaciones, mi amiga Diana y yo nos fuimos a dar una vuelta por algunos de los lugares más bonitos y menos conocidos de San Vicente de la Barquera.
Decidimos subirnos a nuestros tacones y hacer un pequeño photoshoot en los rincones que más nos llamaran la atención.

One of these holidays' afternoons, my dear friend and I went for a walk by some of the most beautiful and not really well-known places in San Vicente de la Barquera (in Cantabria, North of Spain).
We decided to get on our heels and do a photoshoot in the places that call our attention.

Para finalizar, fuimos a un bar/restaurante que hay encima del mar. Se llama Annua y tiene unas vistas increíbles, un ambiente chic, una música chill-out y una cocina moderna y original.

To finish our day, we went to a bar&restaurant next to the sea (over it, indeed). It's called Annua and it has breath-taking views, a chic atmosphere, chill-out music and a modern and original cook.

I'm on holidays since last Monday, and that's the reason why I haven't been able to post before.. I'm on my beach house in the North of Spain, in a small but charmed village called San Vicente de la Barquera.

Estoy de vacaciones desde el pasado lunes, y esa es la razón por la que no he actualizado el blog con anterioridad.. Estoy en mi casa de la playa, en San Vicente de la Barquera, pequeñito pero encantador, ¿habéis estado alguna vez?

Elio Berhanyer's amazing show

This is the place in my city, Valladolid, where Elio Berhanyer's catwalk took place. We could see his designs between a great amount of incredible designers: Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Lemoniez, Alberto Tous, Ritu Kumar, María LaFuente...

I was behind, in the backstage, but fortunatelly I had time to see the last show of the event.

Berhanyer is one of my mum's favourite designers in the world. He creates amazingly smart gowns, as you can see in this post. Hope you like them!!

At the end of the catwalk, all the models went out together and walked through carring flowers in a beautiful detail and tribute to the Spanish designer.

Part of my parents' presents was this amount of fabric, which I chose myself, and mostof them are 100% natural silk. I'm really excited 'cause they all are so gorgeous!!!

-Two pale pink silks, one in electric blue, an original and beautiful lace/tulle simulating tree roots, one in black, a chocolate brown chiffon, a brown metallic plastic-like fabric with flowers, lots of ethnic ones, a white one with reflects, a purple with a print very McQueen's (not shown in the pictures), a nude shiny silk...

Parte de los regalos de mis padres fueron todas estas telas, las cuales yo elegí, y la mayoría de ellas son 100% de seda natural. Estoy muy emocionada porque son todas fantásticas!!!

-Dos sedas en rosa palo, una azul eléctrico, un tul/encaje muy bonito y original simulando raíces de árbol, otra negra, una muselina marrón chocolate, una tipo plástico en marrón y con flores, varias con estampados étnicos, una blanca con reflejos, una morada con un estampado muy McQueen (no aparece en las fotografías), una seda brillante en color nude...

And my birthday party was the best one in my whole life.. 16people in the same hose.. lots of laughts and good moments!!

Y la celebración de mi cumpleaños fue la mejor de toda mi vida.. 16 personas en una misma casa.. un montón de risas y buenos momentos!!

My mum also gave me a bouquet of white roses.. I love them!! and, of course, money for the sales!

Hoy es la Noche de San Juan, una de las noches más mágicas del año y de las más largas (junto con Nochevieja, por supuesto!!). En mi ciudad, Valladolid, todos los jóvenes nos reunimos en la playa de las Moreras. Sí, ¡tenemos playa y con una arena increíble y todo! pero sin mar, eso sí jaja. Está al lado del río Pisuerga, en el cual no os recomiendo que os bañéis, por cierto.. tenéis muchas posibilidades de acabar como los peces de los Simpson xD

En la citada playa, ponen barras de bares para pedir copas (aunque casi todos se llevan su propia bebida, ya sabéis..), hay conciertos y, por supuesto, hogueras.

¿Cuál es vuestro plan para esta noche? ¡disfrutad de la noche si salís!

Por cierto, os muestro el capazo que llevaré esta noche, ¿a que es una monada?:

Today is San Juan's Eve, a magic and looong night. In Spain, we celebrate the summer solstice with a party whose protagonists are the bonfire and the desires. I'll go to the beach (we have one with really good sand, but it's in the river, because we don't have sea.. haha) with my friends. It's the place when all the young people stays this night and there are concerts, bonfires, bar to order drinks, etc.

Is it also celebrated in your countries? enjoy the night in that case!!

Last Sunday I went to my dad's village to see my grandparents. I made this picture of me in the new hotel and restaurant that has been opened in the village, it's really beautiful!

El domingo pasado fui al pueblo de mi padre a ver a mis abuelos. Esta foto me la hice en el nuevo hotel y restaurante que han abierto en el pueblo, ¡es precioso!

The plant with flowers that you can see in these pictures was one of the gifts I made to my grandmother for her birthday; she also loves flowers.

And the skirt is from Zara, I love its floral print. There are several ones in different colors, and they're really cheap! Furthermore, I think that this kind of skirts suits you gorgeous and they're very comfortable.

La planta con flores que veis en estas fotos se la llevé a mi abuela como uno de los regalos por su cumpleaños; a ella también le encantan las flores.

Y la falda es de Zara, me enamoró su estampado floral. Hay varias en diferentes colores, ¡y súper baratas! además, estas faldas con goma me parece que sientan estupendas y son comodísimas.

This morning I've had my History of Fashion exam, about the style of the 50's, the 60's, the 70's, the 80's and the 90's, with all their most important designers.

Those above are my notes and the moodboards I've made of each decade. I'll show you them in others posts and I'll tell you the keys of every age. I think it will be really interesting, won't it? :)

Esta mañana he tenido mi examen de Historia de la Moda, sobre el estilo de los años 50 hasta los 90, con todos los diseñadores importantes de cada año.

A few days ago, as many of you know, it was announced that Sarah Burton, the assistant and McQueen's right hand for 14th years, will be the responsible for the artistic direction of the house.

She's confirm that she's gonna intent to be faithful to the heritage of the designer.

Here I show you some Burton designs, belonging to a collection which was shown in 2009, so you can get and idea of her personal style in designing.

It focuses on the fringes and has a rather dark color palette, starring black and with touches of blue and red. That fringed dress that appears in the picture above is the one that caught my attention, and also these two ones:

I'm feeling between Miu Miu & Alice in Wonderland...

Here it is!! my Zara dress inspired by Miu Miu S/S 2010 collection, with that trendy and beautiful print... I love it!!

I wore it once with white tights (honestly, they're long socks) and I felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland... LOL

I have to post sone pics about my Carnival costume... yep, I dressed just like Alice!! following the trend before it was in shops, you know (indeed, we made it unconsciously! but it was so great!).

Then, I discover that with my brown clogs the dress looks gorgeous... so it'll be my choice for the hot weather!

Have you got any printed piece of cloth such as Miu Miu's??

Aquí está!! mi vestido de Zara inspirado en la colección de primavera/verano 2010 de Miu Miu, con ese estampado tan bonito y trendy... me encanta!!

Un día lo llevé con medias blancas (bueno, en realidad son calzas...) y me sentí un poco como Alicia en el País de las Maravillas jj

Tengo que subir algunas fotos de mi disfraz de Carnavales... que sí, fue de Alicia precisamente!! anticipando la tendencia antes de que saliera en las tiendas, ya sabéis... (en realidad, lo hicimos inconscientemente... pero fue genial!!).

Y entonces descubrí que el vestido con mis zuecos marrones queda estupendo, así que será mi elección para estos días de tanto calor!

La Noche Del Diseño / Fashion's Night!

Exciting. Unbelievable. Spectacular. Wonderful. Absolutely beautiful. Very elaborate. Exquisite fabrics. Original designs... I was shocked. They decided to keep their collections in secret and they left us all speechless.

Emocionante. Increíble. Espectacular. Maravilloso. Absolutamente precioso. Muy elaborado. Telas exquisitas. Diseños originales... Me quedé anonadada. Decidieron mantener las colecciones en secreto y nos dejaron a todos sin palabras.

This is the video of the Final Collections of my Fashion classmates that have finished the HND in Fashion&Textiles career at ESI this year. The place was amazing.. I hope next year we made the catwalk in the same place ('cause I'll be one of the designers...).

These are my favourite rings. The last one I bought was the one with the big flower :) Do you wear rings? And which kind of rings do you like? Tell me! I love big, round ones (my fav ring of all I have is the mother pearl you can see on the above picture, on the left) and a bit vintage-looking.
I also like small ones in silver/white gold or with semi precious stones.

Estos son mis anillos preferidos. El último que compré fue el de la flor grande. ¿Lleváis anillos vosotras? ¿Y de qué tipo os gustan? Contadme! =)
A mí me encantan los grandes y redondos (mi favorito de todos los que tengo es la perla madre que podéis ver en la foto de arriba del todo, a la izquierda) y que parezcan un poco vintage.
También me gustan pequeños, de plata u oro blanco, o con piedras semi-preciosas.

It was love at first sight haha. I found this nice dress at H&M. It was in white/beige or black colour, but I was looking for lace in the first one. I have also a little bow for my hair in the same fabric&colour! Teh brown sandals are from Zara, I think they're my favourte shoes between all I have!

Fue amor a primera vista. Encontré este bonito vestido en H&M. Estaba en blanco/beige o en negro, pero yo estaba buscando encaje en el primer color. Además, tengo un lazo para el pelo de la misma tela&color! Las sandalias son de Zara, creo que son mis zapatos favoritos de entre todos los que tengo!

I'm absolutely addicted to this marvellous toothpaste since I tried it in the Pitty Immagine trade fair at Florence.
Marvis has a great variety of toothpaste with an additive taste. I have got the Marvis Gingermint Flavour, the Marvis Whitenning Toothpaste (it really works!!) and the Marvis JazminMint (my favourite one!!).
They are not cheap but it is worth it. Have you ever tried them?? they're gorgeous! =) I got them at Liberty (London).

Estoy absolutamente enganchada a esta maravillosa pasta de dientes, desde que probé una muestra en la feria de Pitti Immagine en Florencia.
Marvis tiene una gran variedad de dentífrico con un sabor adictivo. Yo tengo el sabor "Gingermint", la de efecto blanqueador (la cual realmente funciona) y la de sabor a Jazmín, mi favorita.
No son baratas pero merecen la pena. ¿Las habéis probado alguna vez? son geniales! ^^ Yo las conseguí en los almacenes Liberty de Londres.

It's really simple, but I wanted to use this fabric (a knit with a bit of lycra) and I had a "non-stop-sewing" day :)
It has a silk flounce with the edge a little ripped like s/s Prada's.

Es muy sencillita, pero quería dar uso a la tela (punto otomán con un poco de lycra) y tenía día de "no-parar-de-coser" ^^
Lleva un volante de shantung de seda deshilachado, como los bordes que sacó Prada en su desfile de primavera/verano 2010.

Esta es la última falda que me he hecho, de color nude, de talle alto (me encanta como quedan así!!) y con formando pliegues en la parte superior al ajustarla con un cinto (haré uno con la misma tela de la falda, ya os lo enseñaré cuando lo tenga).

This is the last skirt I've made on my own, in nude colour, high-waisted (I love how this kind of skirts look!) and forming pleats when you put a belt on the waist (I'll make a belt in the same fabric of the skirt, I'll show you when I have it).

La tela es un crepé(L). Prácticamente todas las prendas que me hago son de crepé, pues me encanta su asombrosa caída y su aspecto granulado que no se encuentra normalmente en las tiendas comunes de prêt-à-porter.

The fabric is a crepé(L). Almost all the clothes I've made by my own are in this fabric 'cause it hangs amanzingly well and I love its granulated look which can't be found normally in prêt-à-porter shops.

Con tan sólo dos colecciones de Ladybug presentadas en la Pasarela de Castilla y León, la joven diseñadora Cristina Ferreira (a la que podéis ver en la imagen superior junto a dos de sus diseños) ha conseguido que me enamore del estilo de esta firma.

Just with two collections made for LadyBug, the Spanish young designer Cristina Ferreira (who you can see in the first pic with two of her designs for f/w 2010-2011) achieved that I love her style.

Su colección para el otoño/invierno del 2010-2011 lleva por título "El Bosque Encantado".
Its fall/winter 2010-2011 collection has the title of "The Charming Forest".

A fluent grey jumpsuit, a bold turquoise skirt, a glamurous grey draping dress, an original beige coat with external pads, a female high-waisted skirt in white, and a sexy brown dress with the form of petals in the part of the skirt were some of the clothes of its fall/winter 2010-2011 collection, which you can see in these pictures.

Un fluido mono gris, una atrevida falda turquesa, un glamuroso vestido gris con drapeados, un original abrigo beige con hombreras externas en color ocre, una femenina falda de talle alto en blanco roto, y un sensual vestido marrón formando pétalos en la parte de la falda fueron algunas de las prendas de este desfile de otoño/invierno 2010-2011, que podéis apreciar en las fotografías.

El outfit final concentraba el leit motiv de la colección: una falda de plumas en tonos verdes y azules que evoca a las aves más exóticas, sobre unos leggins de polipiel marrones que conectaban a las aves con el bosque y un top en azul en una tela brillante y con mucha caída, que rezumaba elegancia y sensualidad.

The final oufit sum up the leit movit of its collection: a skirt full of feathers in green and blue colours just like the exotic birds, over brown leather leggins that connected the birds with the forest and a satin blue top very sensual and smart.

Ladybug ofrece prendas juveniles y exclusivas con un diseño muy femenino y alegre a la par que elegante. También se pueden encontrar bonitos complementos a juego, como bolsos o tocados.

Ladybug has young and exclusive clothes, really femal and in a happy tone but at the same time very elegant. You can also find some interesting accesories, such as bags or headdresses.

En esta foto podéis verme con Godelieve Van der Brandt, la guapísima modelo de la campaña de primavera/verano 2009 de Desigual, que tiene un cuerpo espectacular, piernas kilométricas y además es súper maja!.
El vestido que llevo es un diseño mío (me lo he hecho yo), tiene escote corazón con drapeados y la tela es una organza catiónica tornasolada en dorado con destellos negros.

In this pic you can see myself with the beautiful model of the SS 09 Desigual campaign. She has such an amazing body with long, really long legs...!
The dress I'm wearing it's my own design (a hand-made dress), it has a heart-like neckline and the fabric is an silk organza in gold and black reflects.

Los días 9, 10 y 11 estuve en la Pasarela de Castilla y León, con pase de prensa, para redactar las crónicas de los desfiles en la página www.cylfashion.com =)
Fue una experiencia increíble y conocí a muchísima gente (diseñadores, cámaras, fotógrafos, periodistas, modelos...).
Además, el ambiente de la sala de prensa me encanta... y, por supuesto, las fiestas de moda posteriores en bares y habitaciones de hotel!! =P

It was an incredible experience and I met such nice people! (designers, cameramen, photographers, journalists, models...).

Mi desfile favorito de los diseñadores de El Ego fue el de Solitas, por sus trenchs, sus estampados, colores y los volúmenes y cortes que dieron a las prendas. ¡Me encantó!

My favourite collection of the Ego young fashion designers was Solita's, because of their trenchs, printings, colours and the volume and cuts gived at their designs. I absolutely loved it!!

Por fin voy a asistir a Cibeles Fashion Week, ¡qué ganas tenía!. En la fotografía superior podéis ver algunas de las entradas para el Ego y el Cibelspacio. Voy con mi clase de Diseño de Moda, y hasta el día 23 no creo que pueda pasarme por el blog... lo voy a echar de menos! os cuento con detalle a mi regreso!!
Además de la pasarela de jóvenes diseñadores (el Ego), asistiremos también a otros desfiles como el de Alma Aguilar o Carlos Díez, y estaremos en el backstage de María LaFuente.

I'll go with my Fashion Design classmates and until the 23rd I won't probably be able to enter my blog... I'm gonna missing it! I'll tell you in detail at my comeback!!

Alexander McQueen era uno de mis diseñadores preferidos... por no decir el que últimamente se había convertido en mi favorito. Sus desfiles eran todo un espectáculo y sus creaciones, puro arte y originalidad... la moda ha perdido a uno de los grandes, un genio.

Estaba pensando en hacer un port sobre él, y creo que este es el momento. Su último desfile me encantó, fue increíble. Fascinantes obras de arte caminando sobre la parela...

Alexander McQueen was one of my favourite designers... maybe my fav one. His sho were absolutely amazing and his creations, pure art and originality... fashion has lost one of the biggest, a genius.

I was thinking of creat a post about him, and I think that this is the moment. His last catwalk was incredible, I loved it. Beautiful art walking on the runway...

Desde que vi a todas las modelos en el desfile de Alexander Wang con la TRENZA ladeada, sabía que iba a ser el peinado estrella de la temporada. Y más aún si Miuccia Prada también las sacaba en su colección para Miu Miu...
Y ahora lo han confirmado H&M en su campaña publicitaria, editoriales de revistas como SomosMagazine, y las bloggers más trendy que ya las están llevando.

Since I saw all the models in the Alexander Wang catwalk with the BRAID on one side, I knew it would be the it hairstyle of the season. Moreover, if Miuccia Prada did it too in her collection for Miu Miu...

Hasta nunca, 2009.

2009... sabes que casi desde que comenzaran tus días, ya estaba deseando con fervor que te acabaras. Así que de tus 365 días, hoy para mí es el más feliz xD. Por fin te vas...

Si hiciera un balance objetivo de este año, seguro que sí que sería positivo, porque he conocido a mucha gente increíble, he viajado un montón (Florencia, Praga, Viena, Budapest, Pamplona...), he asistido a ferias de moda y desfiles, a fiestas... pero sintiéndolo mucho, no puedo ser objetiva.

Resulta inverosímil, como una causa puede ser consecuencia de tantas cosas... como una sóla persona puede ser la razón de mi más absoluta felicidad o abocarme a la más honda tristeza... pero es la dura realidad. Ojalá no dependiera tanto de cierto sentimiento llamado amor...

2009, no te perdono que hayas sido el año en que más veces haya derramado lágrimas. Tampoco te perdono el que hayas roto tantas parejas, no sólo la mía. Y, ni qué dedir tiene, no te perdono en absoluto que te hayas llevado tantas vidas a mi alrededor y que hayas enfermado a otras cuantas.

Conozco a varias personas que quieren que termines, y quedan tan sólo unas horas... unas horas para dedicarte un último texto cargado de odio. ¿Se puede odiar a un año? No sé, pero yo siempre te veré escrito con letras negras. A pesar de todo lo bueno que has tenido, que lo ha habido y mucho...

Así que, de todos modos, he de reconocer que debía de pasar este año... porque es el año en que me he conocido realmente, en el que me he dado cuenta de mis defectos y de mis virtudes, el que me está enseñando a tener más paciencia y el que me ha hecho darme cuenta de lo que realmente me importa en esta vida, y qué no. Además de conocer a ciertas personitas y echarme unas cuantas risas con mis amigas :)

Aunque a algunos les parezca una materialista, hubiera cambiado toda la ropa que tengo por estar con cierta persona. Creo que con eso ya queda claro (mis preciosos vestidos... snif snif xD).

No me importa lo material si no puedo tener lo inmaterial...

En definitiva, querido 2010, he depositado todas mis ilusiones en ti. Sabes que tan sólo te pido un par de cosas, y tienes 365 días para cumplirlas. Sólo dos cosas.

No me falles... =)

Up to never, 2009...

2009... you know that almost since your days began, I was wishing fervently that you were finished. In your 365 days, today is for me the happiest one xD. At last you're almost over...

If I made an objective assessment of this year, sure it would be good, because I've met so many amazing people...!, I have traveled a lot, I've attended fashion shows&catwalks, parties... but regrettably, I can't be objective.

It seems to be unlikely, how just a cause can be the result of so many consecuences... as a single person may be the reason of my absoluted happiness or the deepest sadness ... but it's a fact. Hope I wouldn't depend so much on certain feeling called love...

2009, I will never forgive you, because you have been the year in wich I have shed tears more times. Nor I forgive you that you have broken so many couples, not just mine. And of course, I do not forgive you at all the fact that you've taken so many lives around me and you have taken a few others sickened.

I know several people who want you to be over, and there are just a few hours left ... few hours to devote a final text full of hate. Can you hate a year? I don't know, but I'll always see you writing with black lettering. Despite all the good things you've bring to me...

So anyway, I have to admit that I had to pass through this year... because it has been the year where I have realized my shortcomings and my strengths, which is teaching me more patience and the one in which I've realized what really matters in this life for me, and what not. In addition, I've met special people and I've laught a lot with my friends:)

No sé si habréis visto la línea de accesorios para el pelo que ha sacado Zara, tiene cosas muy bonitas para esta Nochevieja. Yo me he comprado la cinta de la derecha que aparece en la primera imagen, pero no creo que la lleve pues me resulta un tanto incómoda para tanto tiempo. En su lugar, llevaré un lazo negro en la parte de atrás. De todos modos, ya he llevado esta cinta de Zara y queda preciosa!!

I don't know if you have seen yet the hair accesory line of Zara, it has really pretty things for New Year's Eve party. I've bought the headband you can see in the first picture (left). I suppose I'm not gonna wear it in New Year's Eve because it's a little uncomfortable for so many hours... instead, I'll wear my big black bow. Anyway, I've wore this headband and it's really beautiful!!

En Zara ya se han adelantado a una de las que seán tendencias estrella para la próxima temporada primavera/verano 2010: el encaje.
Antes no me gustaba nada el rosa palo, pero el otro día salí de Zara con cuatro prendas en ese color... combinado con negro puede quedar muy dulce y elegante.
Os dejo mi outfit para el sábado, a ver qué os parece.

In Zara they have got ahead with one of the big trends for the next season (spring/summer 2010): lace.
I didn't use to like pastel pink, but the other day I bought in Zara four clothes in that colour... I think that it can be really sweet and smart combined with black colour.

Mi clase de Diseño de Moda y yo hemos realizado una práctica de escaparatismo en una pequeña mercería de Valladolid.
Según la práctica propuesta por nuestro profesor de Comunicación Visual y Lenguaje Publicitario, hemos intentado convertir una tienda tradicional en una de lujo, envolviéndola asimismo en un ambiente navideño.
My Fashion Design classmates and I have made a window dressing practice in a little shop of Valladolid.
We have tried to transform a traditional shop in a luxury one, adding to it a Christmas character.

The nice owner of Couture Carrie Blog gave me these nice&trendy leggins because a contest I won some time ago in her blog. (Sorry about not having posted any picture with them until now!)
I wore them with a black t-shirt and my new black pumps.

Viena es también una ciudad muy bonita, tiene muchos jardines y parques, muchas tiendas y edificios impresionantes. El Ayuntamiento, el Parlamento, la Ópera (tenéis q verla de noche si vais!!) y los palacios de Sisí son increíbles!

Vienna is also an amazing city, it has lots of gardens and green areas, also shops, & impressive buildings. The City hall, the Parlament, the Opera (you have to see it at night!!) and the Sisi Palaces are increbile!

Hola de nuevo! :) no he podido postear antes porque mi conexión a Internet lleva sin funcionar 4 días (ahora estoy robando wifi a alguien xD)...
Me ha encantado el viaje, son preciosas las tres ciudades, una pasada! comienzo con Praga, una ciudad encantadora y con mucho ambiente. Iré poniendo más fotos cuando mi conexión vuelva en sí. 1besazo!!
